Burglary detection
Motion alarms and glass break sensors can warn you when an unwanted intruder enters your place. Receive a notification to your phone when an device trips, or arm and disarm your devices remotely to let in guests or maintenance when you’re not home.
Environmental safety alarms
Ordinary smoke detectors should come standard with your apartment or rental home, but you may not get other environmental alarms. Place a wireless carbon monoxide alarm or flood alarm to notify you and the monitoring team to problems before it’s too late.
Indoor or doorbell cameras
A security cameras can be wirelessly hung so you can watch over certain rooms. A doorbell camera gives you the option to see -- and talk to -- guests at the front door. Watch real-time HD feeds and alerts about lurkers through the Vivint App.
Round-the-clock monitoring
A great benefit of choosing Vivint is the monitoring agents that respond to triggered alarms. If a component triggers, your monitoring experts immediately contacts you to make sure you’re in a safe location. Then they’ll phone the proper emergency personnel.
Home automation components
Home automation items, like smart lighting, can be put in to make your rental home or apartment more energy-efficient. Some components like a smart thermostat or smart locks may require prior management approval.

Your Austin security system can be adjusted from home or away with the Vivint App. View HD security feeds, remotely turn on and off components, or program times for all your smart devices. Then allow texts to your phone if a device trips or a camera sees a suspected lurker.
